Carol Radsprecher

Artist’s Statement

A restless artist, Carol Radsprecher has explored both representational and abstract ways of painting (her present work combines both elements) as well as Photoshop, and digital technology has provided her with a whole new way of working.

Carol Radsprecher was born and still lives in Brooklyn, NY, with a Manhattan studio. She received her MFA in painting from Hunter College in 1988. Her work has appeared in numerous group shows, and she has had several solo exhibits, among them in Victory Hall Drawing Rooms (Jersey City, NJ) this past February-March 2015; Wiseman Gallery of Rogue Community College, in Grants Pass, OR; the Alliance Gallery at the Delaware Valley Arts Center; the Next Gallery of Metropolitan College, in Manhattan; the Pierro Gallery at South Orange (NJ); the Garrison Art Center (Garrison, NY); Get Real Art Gallery (Manhattan); and Thompson Park Art Space (Lyncroft, NJ).
